On October 18, 2010 (the "Petition Date"), Crystal Cathedral Ministries (the "Debtor") filed a voluntary petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California (the "Bankruptcy Court") seeking relief under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code"). The Debtor is represented by Winthrop Couchot.
Marc J. Winthrop is the principal attorney responsible for this engagement. The Debtor continues to operate its business and manage its property as a debtor-in-possession.
On October 29, 2010, the United States Trustee appointed the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the "Committee") in the Debtor's bankruptcy case pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code.
